Our journey begins with a pickup in downtown Salt Lake City, setting the stage for an exciting excursion to Antelope Island. This secluded treasure offers abundant wildlife and breathtaking views, making for an unforgettable experience!

As we leave the urban landscape behind, a one-hour drive takes us to the serene Antelope Island State Park, situated in the midst of the Great Salt Lake. Here, we will be on the lookout for magnificent bison, coyotes, bobcats, antelope, and a variety of other creatures. With a bit of luck, we may also witness the striking sight of thousands of migratory birds soaring overhead.

Accompanied by our expert guide, we will uncover intriguing insights about the ecosystem surrounding one of the largest saltwater lakes on the planet. For instance, we'll learn how the elevated salinity of the Great Salt Lake supports a distinctive environment that allows numerous species to thrive.

To conclude our adventure on a spectacular note, we will embark on a short yet moderate 1-mile (1.6 km) hike to Buffalo Point, where we can soak in a stunning sunset over the lake. Be sure to have your cameras ready!

After this enriching experience, we will head back, wrapping up our tour approximately 4.5 hours after we started.

On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from your selected hotel at the indicated time. Please be in the lobby, ready to go, at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. You'll recognize the guide driving a white Ford passenger van, with the "Sunnyside Expeditions" logo on the side.

Please also keep in mind that the driver will be coming from additional pickup locations and so may arrive as early as 10 minutes before or up to 10 minutes after the scheduled pickup time.
