On this excursion to the northeastern region of Boa Vista, you will explore the prominent attractions of this beautiful Cape Verdean island. In addition, you will have the chance to take a refreshing swim at Ervatão beach.

Northeast Boa Vista + Ervatão Beach Experience

Starting at 9 am, we will collect you from your accommodation as we embark on an exploration of the northeastern area of Boa Vista. Are you ready to embark on a day filled with captivating views? Let’s go!

Your initial destination will be Rabil, which stands as the island's second largest town. Here, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in local culture as we stroll through its streets, uncovering charming artisan shops and the Rabil church. Following this, our journey continues to the Fonte Vicente Oasis.

This remarkable natural space is adorned with fruit-bearing trees, including towering fig trees, resilient almond trees, and unique baobabs. A short distance away lies Curral Velho, famed for the remnants of a vast salt mining area, which is framed by expansive golden sand dunes.

We will also visit the unspoiled beach and the islet of Curral Velho, a popular location for divers thanks to its abundance of colorful fish. After our time here, we will return to the minibus and make our way to the idyllic Ervatão beach, often described as a slice of paradise featuring crystal-clear waters and pristine white sand. This area is also known as the primary nesting ground for loggerhead sea turtles. If fortune is on our side, we might even catch sight of them!

After enjoying 30 minutes of leisure on the beach, we will proceed to our final stop - Fundo das Figueras, a quaint village where you can savor lunch at a local eatery at your convenience.

Finally, we will return you to your hotel around 4 pm.
