At your convenience, we will collect you from your accommodations in Armenia to commence our journey to the Botanical Garden of Quindio. Following a scenic 20-minute drive amidst coffee plantations, we will reach our destination.

Upon arrival, you'll find yourself immersed in the rich biodiversity of Quindío. The garden features a diverse array of over 600 plant species, showcasing both exotic and native flora. We will meander along a picturesque trail that stretches several kilometers, leading us to one of the highlights of the garden, the National Collection of Palms, featuring nearly all the native palm species found in Colombia!

The experience continues with a visit to the stunning Butterfly Garden, where approximately 1500 butterflies flutter gracefully among the blossoms. For those eager to delve deeper into Quindío’s ecological diversity, there’s the option to explore the insect zoo or take advantage of the bird watching stations available at three distinct spots. Be sure not to miss the seven-storey viewpoint, offering breathtaking aerial views of the lush vegetation below.

Our exploration will also lead us to discover fascinating ferns and heliconias. Participants can enhance their visit further by checking out the Museum of Geology and Soils or the Line Tunnel Museum (Museo del Túnel de la Línea).
