Description

Your day will commence at 7 am with a pickup from your hotel in La Ceiba. A short trip will take us to the Sambo Creek Tourist Center, where a boat is prepared to take us to the stunning Cayos Cochinos.

After a picturesque 40-minute boat journey, we will arrive at Cayo Bolaños, an idyllic islet boasting soft white beaches and transparent waters. Feel free to immerse yourself in the inviting sea for a refreshing swim.

Our exploration will then lead us to Cayo Menor, where a visit to the Scientific Research Station awaits. Here, you will be able to watch a short video that delves into the Natural Marine Monument of the archipelago, revealing the ecological treasures of this marine environment.

Prepare for an exhilarating snorkeling adventure as we proceed to Cayo Mayor. Dive into the colorful underwater scenery and get a glimpse of the magnificent Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. Additionally, a guided hike will lead us through the island's dense vegetation, where we will search for the rare pink boa, an intriguing yet potentially dangerous native snake.

Following our exploration, we will reboard the boat and head to Cayo Chachahuate. Here, you'll enjoy 2 hours of free time for lunch, swimming, or simply soaking up the warm Honduran sun.

As our enjoyable day concludes, we will return to Sambo Creek and then to your hotel, with an expected arrival time of around 3 pm.
