Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Calama. From there, we'll board a 4x4 vehicle and drive towards the fascinating Chug-Chug geoglyphs. During the ride, we will delve into the intriguing history surrounding these unique drawings located in the heart of the Atacama Desert.

After a brief drive of approximately one hour, we will reach our destination. As we step out of the vehicle, we will take a closer look at the intricate features of these anthropomorphic figures, carved into the mountains and visible from historic caravan paths that traverse this arid terrain.

The Chug-Chug area is distinguished by its extensive collection of geoglyphs, boasting the largest concentration globally. It ranks as the third most significant site for geoglyphs after the Pintados in the Tarapaca region and the renowned Nazca Lines in Peru, with over 500 individual designs!

Once we have thoroughly explored this captivating region of Atacama, we will make our way back to Calama, concluding our tour with a return to your hotel after an enriching 5-hour experience.
