If you’re traveling through Colombia’s Coffee Region, especially Santa Rosa de Cabal, visiting a traditional coffee farm is a must. It’s the perfect way to learn all about the country’s most iconic product: coffee.

At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at the entrance of Hotel Typica - Finca del Café. Once everyone’s there, we’ll begin this authentic cultural experience on the farm, where agriculture and coffee culture take center stage. We’ll walk through the coffee plantations and see firsthand the work local farmers do to produce this exceptional drink.

During the tour, we’ll follow the entire coffee-making process, from planting and harvesting to drying the beans. Ever wondered how coffee beans are selected? Or how to properly prepare a great cup of coffee? You’ll learn all that and more along the way.

To make the experience even more immersive, you’ll also take part in harvesting the beans using the traditional baskets worn around the waist by farmers in the region.

To wrap things up, we’ll enjoy a tasting of 2 different coffees, where you’ll learn how to recognize the drink’s different aromas, flavors, and nuances. It’s the perfect tour for coffee lovers and anyone curious about Colombian culture.

After about 2.5 hours, we’ll say our goodbyes and bring the activity to an end.
