Discover Ancient Egypt: Luxor Tour Overview

At the scheduled hour, you will be collected from your accommodation or boat in Luxor, initiating a day filled with discovery along the Nile River.

Your first stop will be the Luxor Temple, a vital location from ancient Thebes. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it features the remarkable Avenue of the Sphinxes, a stunning array of colonnades, and grand statues of esteemed Egyptian rulers such as Ramses II.

Following this, we will continue to Karnak, the largest temple complex in Ancient Egypt. This expansive site, known for the magnificent sanctuary of Amun, invites admiration of the intricately carved obelisks of Thutmose I and Hatshepsut. Our adventure unfolds further inside the remarkable hypostyle hall.

After visiting Karnak, we will cross the Nile to arrive at the Valley of the Kings. This haunting area, where tombs of pharaohs like Tutankhamun and Ramses II lie, offers insights into age-old burial customs. We will also visit the Valley of the Queens, home to the burial chambers of royal wives and princesses from the New Kingdom.

We will then make our way to the Temple of Hatshepsut, celebrated as "the sublime of the sublime." This grand edifice honors the only female Pharaoh during the 18th Dynasty, a remarkable era in Egypt's history. Our tour will culminate at the Colossi of Memnon, where we can appreciate the vast statues of Amenhotep III.

Pickup Information

Please be informed that the service for pickup and drop-off is available for guests situated on the east bank (right bank) of the Nile River. Should your accommodation or boat lie outside this area, we will establish a meeting point on the east bank. The drop-off will occur at the same location along the river from where you were initially collected.
