Gruyères Tour Overview

We'll begin our journey at the appointed time from Route de Berne 144 in Lausanne, heading towards one of the most renowned chocolate manufacturers in Switzerland: Maison Cailler.

Upon reaching Maison Cailler, situated in the village of Broc, guests will uncover the intricate process of chocolate production and enjoy sampling various chocolate delicacies crafted on-site.

Following our factory visit, we'll proceed to the Maison du Gruyères, a factory-museum where the mysteries behind one of Switzerland's beloved cheeses are revealed. Gruyères cheese, made from fresh local milk, holds the distinction of being recognized as a Protected Designation of Origin.

Our journey will then continue through the stunning Swiss landscape, where we’ll pass through vibrant green fields inhabited by alpine cattle. We will pause at the medieval village of Gruyères, where you will have around two hours to enjoy lunch and explore this scenic locale in the canton of Fribourg.

In the afternoon, our tour will traverse the mountainous region of Le Moléson as we make our return to Lausanne. You can expect to arrive back at our starting point between 5:15 pm and 5:45 pm.

This excursion will be led in English. For groups smaller than 10 individuals, a driver will accompany the tour, providing insights into the sites. For groups exceeding 10 participants, a dedicated guide will join to enhance the experience.
