Embark on this captivating boat journey along the Guadiana River, guiding you through the stunning coastlines of both Vila Real de Santo António in Portugal and Ayamonte in Spain.

Our adventure begins at the scheduled time from the Centro Náutico 818 located in Vila Real de Santo António, positioned on the Portuguese bank of the river.

Commencing in a northerly direction, the trip offers picturesque views of Vila Real de Santo António as we glide along the river. We will then transition to the Spanish coast, reaching the charming town of Ayamonte in Huelva.

As we navigate the waters next to the Canela neighborhood, traditional fishing boats can be observed, alongside insights into the region's seafaring traditions.

Onward, we will explore the diverse ecosystem of the Castro Marim and Vila Real de Santo António Marsh Natural Reserve, where we can delight in birdwatching opportunities, hoping to spot vibrant flamingos and elegant herons, along with an array of other bird species.

After approximately one hour on the water, we will return to our original docking point.
