Your journey will commence with a pickup from your accommodation in central Cajamarca at the scheduled time, as we set off on this comprehensive tour. This city annually hosts the renowned Peruvian Carnival, one of the most festive occasions in the country!

The first stop will be the Plaza de Armas, a significant site where the Inca leader Atahualpa was captured by Spanish forces. Here, we will view the impressive Santa Catalina Cathedral alongside the San Francisco Church, both featuring facades intricately carved from volcanic stone.

Continuing our journey, a short walk will lead us to the prominent Belen complex, which houses the Men's Hospital, the Women's Hospital, and an adjoining church. Following this, we will visit the Cuarto del Rescate (Rescue Room), where remarkable Incan artifacts can be seen. Historians believe this was the location where Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro held Atahualpa captive prior to his execution. Insights into Atahualpa's final days in confinement await!

Next, we will ascend to the viewpoint at Santa Apolonia Hill, offering breathtaking vistas of the city and the Rumi Tiana Valley. Here, you will encounter the notable Silla del Inca, a significant landmark reputed to be the throne of Atahualpa.
