Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Santo Amaro do Maranhão. We will board a minibus to head towards the remarkable Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, where we will explore the stunning dunes and visit the picturesque Lagoa das Emendadas.

Upon arrival at the park, we'll disembark the bus and embark on a hike that will span approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. This scenic route will lead us to the Lagoa das Emendadas, located in a truly wild section of this natural wonder.

During our trek, we will cover a distance of 6 kilometers (3.7 miles), encountering other enchanting lagoons within Lençóis Maranhenses. Along the way, we’ll take brief pauses, allowing you to snap photos and enjoy a refreshing swim.

As we approach the Lagoa das Emendadas, we will take a moment to soak in the beauty of the surroundings and learn more about the local flora and fauna. Did you know this area serves as an ideal breeding ground for various bird species? Don’t forget to look out for the tiny turtles that inhabit the region!

We will conclude our visit by watching the sunset over the lagoon, before making our way back. Once again aboard the minibus, after approximately 5 hours of exploration, we will return to your hotels, marking the end of our journey.
