Day Trip to Lipari and Vulcano

Your journey commences at the Taormina bus station, where we'll board a transport that will carry us to Milazzo Port. There, our adventure will truly begin as we board a boat destined for Lipari and Vulcano.

During the approximately 1-hour boat ride, prepare to soak in stunning views of the Aeolian Islands archipelago, which earned its UNESCO World Heritage Site designation in 2000.

Once we reach Lipari, you'll be granted 2 hours of leisure time to explore its unique offerings. Highlights include a stroll through the charming old town, a visit to the impressive cathedral, and the Archaeological Museum, which showcases artifacts that are over 5,000 years old. Nestled in the beautiful Tyrrhenian Sea, Lipari is the most populated island in this volcanic archipelago.

Next, we will gather at the boat to head towards Vulcano, the southernmost island featuring four distinct volcanoes, including one that remains active. You will enjoy another 2 hours to unwind on the famous black sand beaches and savor the local culinary delights.

Finally, we will return to the boat and cruise back to Milazzo Port, where a bus will be ready to bring you back to the starting point, marking the end of our 12-hour adventure.
