Trip to Llanganuco Lakes

At the designated time, we will gather on Calle Jirón 28 de Julio 710 and then proceed to collect you from your accommodation in Huaraz, heading towards the enchanting Llanganuco lagoons. Nestled within the Huascaran National Park, this paradise is sure to leave you in awe.

Our first stop will offer breathtaking perspectives of the majestic Huanday, Hualcan,, and Huascaran peaks. Notably, the altitude of Huascaran surpasses 22,000 ft, presenting an unforgettable view.

Upon reaching Huascaran National Park, we will head straight to the renowned Llanganuco lakes: Chinancocha and Orconcocha. Here, you will have an hour of leisure time to discover these glacial wonders of the Cordillera Blanca in Peru at your own pace. You might want to enjoy a delightful horse ride or take a boat serenely across the picturesque waters.

Next, we'll visit Caraz, where you can take a break to savor the local cuisine. After enjoying lunch, we will dedicate half an hour to exploring a variety of local bakeries, where you'll learn about the region's traditional sweets.

On our return journey to Huaraz, we will make a stop in the district of Tarica to admire its traditional handicrafts. Ultimately, our wonderful trip concludes as we return to the meeting point by approximately 8 pm.
