Trip Overview
At the specified time, we will gather at the Peniscola Tourist Office and embark on a minibus journey towards Morella, a true gem of the Levantine region celebrated as one of the most stunning villages in Spain.
Our adventure begins with a visit to the San Miguel gate, leading us into the historic core of Morella. This ancient area boasts numerous elegant residences, historic structures, and charming cobblestone paths.
Notably known for its honey, Morella is home to an artisanal honey shop, where we will have the opportunity to delve into the honey-making process.
Next, we will explore the Basilica of Morella, which showcases the exquisite Valencian Gothic architecture from the 13th and 14th centuries.
The final highlight of our journey will be Morella Castle. While admiring the exterior of this historic fortress, we will share intriguing stories about its past. Afterward, you will enjoy 1 hour of leisure time to explore the castle grounds or savor a meal at a nearby restaurant.
In closing, we will return to our starting point in Peniscola via minibus, with an expected arrival time of 9.5 hours after our departure.
