Excursion to Ha Long & Lan Ha Bay
Your day begins with a pick-up at 7:45 am from your central Cat Ba hotel or at 190-1/4 Street, based on your preference. From there, we will board a minibus and set off towards the southern region of the island.
Upon arriving at the port, we'll embark on our cruise at 8 am, heading into Lan Ha Bay. Our journey starts alongside the Beo floating fishing village, allowing us to admire popular sites such as Monkey Island and Buddha Island, well-known attractions in this picturesque area.
We will then sail from Lan Ha Bay into Ha Long Bay, where stunning views of the Ha Long city skyline await. Next, we will make a stop at Cam Lagoon to enjoy a delightful Vietnamese lunch on board. Once we’ve recharged, we’ll have a short break before embarking on a memorable kayaking adventure to explore Monkey Cave, Dark Cave, Bright Cave, and Bat Cave.
Our expedition will continue with exhilarating snorkeling in the Ba Trai Dao natural area. After soaking in this vibrant marine life, we will return to the boat to relax on the upper deck while we watch the sunset over the bay.
We anticipate arriving back at our starting point between 5 pm and 5:30 pm.
Excursion + Night Plankton Experience
Enhance your visit to Ha Long and Lan Ha bays by opting for an upgraded tour featuring a night kayaking adventure to witness bioluminescent plankton. Following the sunset, we will dine at a local restaurant, enjoying a delectable selection of fish and seafood as a traditional meal.
Once we've satisfied our hunger, we will embark on a kayak expedition in the lagoon, where you’ll gain insight into the fascinating bioluminescence phenomenon of the plankton. This one-hour kayaking experience is an ideal opportunity to embrace the mesmerizing landscape that comes alive at night.
Ultimately, we will return to the mainland and head back to your hotel approximately 14 hours after the start of our adventure.
