Day 1: Practice in confined water

Commencing on Day 1, we'll collect you from your hotel at 8:30 am and transport you to the diving center in Nilaveli. Upon arrival, we’ll review key theoretical concepts and prepare for our first experience in the water.

In a secure setting, you'll engage in drills focusing on essential diving skills, including buoyancy control, clearing water from the mask, and properly utilizing the regulator. This foundational practice equips you for the dives ahead!

Days 2 and 3: Diving in open water

During Days 2 and 3, you will apply the skills learned from the previous day in real diving scenarios.

After collecting you from your accommodation, we will return to the diving center for gear fitting, followed by a swift journey on a speedboat to explore open water.

Over these two days, you will complete four dives, aiming to achieve the status of a certified scuba diver. Once all required exercises are successfully executed, you will be certified to dive up to 18 meters — well done!

Duration

This course typically spans three days; however, for those staying longer in Nilaveli or wishing to attend additional theory sessions, completion can extend to a maximum of five days.

Hotel pick up

This service includes collection from hotels situated in Nilaveli. Guests residing elsewhere will need to travel to Ward No. 1, 9th Mile Post independently.

Following the activity, it is essential to refrain from flying or ascending to high altitudes for at least 24 hours.
