From there, we will journey 25 km (15.5 mi) to the stunning Kórnik Castle, originally established in the 15th century and later renovated in the 19th century in an exquisite English Gothic manner. This historical property, once home to the esteemed Zamoyski family, showcases a variety of furniture, art, and national treasures. We'll meander through the charming Arboretum park, renowned for its diverse collection of unique trees and exotic flora.
Next, we will visit Rogalin Palace, where you can explore its beautifully manicured gardens, known for possessing the largest oak tree collection in Europe. Nearby, you can also view the Rococo-Neoclassical estate of the Raczy?ski family, a gem from the 18th century.

Greater Poland Day Trip (8 Hours)
Your journey starts with a hotel pickup in Pozna? as we set off for the Greater Poland region, known as Wielkopolska in Polish. Our initial stop will be Gniezno, the historic capital of Poland. Following a visit to the cathedral, the city's standout landmark, we will proceed to Biskupin, a significant archaeological site where you can delve into life during the Bronze Age in this region.
After a lunch break, we’ll board a steam train that will whisk us away to Wenecja. Here, we will explore the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum, a fascinating experience! At the end of the day, we’ll return to your hotel in Pozna?.
Entrance fees: This tour covers the entry costs for Gniezno Cathedral (3 EUR per person), the Biskupin archaeological site (3 EUR per person), and the Wenecja Narrow Gauge Railway Museum (2.50 EUR per person).
Torún Day Trip (10 Hours)
Upon collecting you from your hotel in Pozna?, our direct route will lead us to Torún, the esteemed birthplace of Nicolaus Copernicus. Wander through the old town of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll retrace the steps of the astronomer who transformed European thought in the 16th century. Key highlights include a visit to the Copernicus House Museum and a climb up the bell tower of Torún Cathedral, where you can relish stunning views of the city.
After our guided exploration, you will have some free time to enjoy lunch at your leisure. Later in the afternoon, we will regroup for our return journey to the various hotels in Pozna?.
Important Info:
- Specific closing days: The Copernicus House Museum remains closed on Mondays, and the bell tower of Toru? Cathedral is not accessible from November to March.
- On the excursion day, separate payment is required for entry to the Copernicus House Museum (3 EUR per person) and the Toru? Cathedral tower (2 EUR per person).
Warsaw Day Trip (10 Hours)
Following your reservation, the local team will arrange train tickets for your independent journey from Pozna? to Warsaw. Upon arrival, you will find your guide awaiting you at the Warsaw Central Station. We will kick off the experience with a panoramic bus tour of the city’s most notable landmarks. While traversing through picturesqueLazienki Park, we will then arrive at the historic heart of Warsaw, where we’ll embark on a walking tour featuring essential sites such as the Royal Castle of Warsaw, St. John's Cathedral, and the Barbican.
After a brief intermission for lunch, we’ll continue to explore Warsaw's New Town, where we will encounter the Grand Opera House and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, among other significant attractions. The tour will conclude at Warsaw Central Station, where you’ll receive your train tickets to facilitate your return to Pozna?.
Entrance fees: Note that admission to the Royal Castle of Warsaw is not included and is closed every Monday from October to April. Tickets are priced at 7.50 EUR each.

For the excursions to Greater Poland and Torún, transportation will be in a bus or minibus, which includes pickup and drop-off services from lodging in central Pozna?. The Warsaw trip is by train, with a meeting point at the train station upon arrival in Warsaw.

On the day of the activity, the guide will pick you up from the hotel in Poznan that you specified when making your booking. We recommend that you be ready in the lobby of your hotel a few minutes before the scheduled time.
If you have booked the day trip to Warsaw, the local tour provider will contact you to provide you with the train tickets (which will be emailled to you or sent to your hotel) and they'll tell you what time your train leaves at. Once you've got the tickets, you'll have to make your own way to the train station in Poznań and take the correct train. Your guide will meet you at the arrivals terminal in the central train station in Warsaw.
