Beginner's Scuba Dive in Santa Maria

Experience the stunning underwater world surrounding Santa Maria island through this introductory scuba diving session. This opportunity serves as an ideal gateway to engaging with a remarkable sport and the extraordinary marine environments of the Azores.

Introductory Scuba Dive Experience in Santa Maria

We will gather at 8 am at 473 Alto da Cruz Street in Vila do Porto. Here, you will receive all the essential gear needed for your first scuba diving adventure. Afterward, we will hop onto a minibus for a short ride to the Santa Maria port.

Upon arrival, we will embark on a boat that will take us to our designated scuba diving site. After receiving crucial safety instructions, we’ll dive into the ocean, descending to depths of approximately 20 ft, where you will marvel at the rich marine life of the Azores for a duration of 40 minutes. Prepare to encounter vibrant corals, swarms of tuna, volcanic rock formations, and a plethora of underwater wonders!

After the dive, we will return to the Marina of Vila do Porto, where you will be taken back to the initial meeting place to receive your PADI diving certification. The activity will conclude at 2 pm, allowing us to say our goodbyes.
