Stromboli & Panarea Day Trip

Trip Overview

Meeting 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure at Piazza di Marina Corta, we will board a boat that will take us across the serene waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. As we leave Lipari behind, our first destination will be Panarea, known as the second smallest island within the volcanic Aeolian archipelago.

Once we arrive in Panarea, you will have two hours to explore at your leisure. We suggest embarking on a hiking trail that leads you to Cala Junco, renowned for its beauty. While there, you can not only enjoy the crystalline waters but also discover remnants of an ancient settlement dating back to 1400 BC!

After regrouping at the port, we will set sail towards Stromboli. If conditions allow, we will make a stop midway for a refreshing swim in the open sea.

Next, we will approach Stromboli, where you'll witness its fascinating volcanic activity from the boat. As the sun sets, we will begin our journey back to Lipari, culminating in a spectacular view of the lava flowing down the volcanic slopes of Stromboli!

The excursion will conclude approximately eight to nine hours after our departure from Lipari, as we return to our starting point.

Essential Information

In the event that Stromboli enters a red zone due to a volcanic activity alert and visits to the island are restricted, we will adjust the itinerary for your safety. In this case, we will extend our time in Panarea and then sail around Stromboli for a scenic tour from the water. During this portion, you'll have the chance to admire the striking Strombolicchio and the breathtaking Sciara del Fuoco.
