Tour Details
We'll meet at 108 St NW. After a brief introduction, we'll assign you your electric scooters and set off to discover Edmonton. Let's go!
Starting in front of the Alberta Legislature Building, a notable neoclassical landmark inaugurated in 1912, we'll discuss its importance as the political center of the province surrounded by beautiful gardens and historical narratives of the oil industry's impact on the region.
Next, we’ll cross the High Level Bridge, an engineering marvel that links the north and south sides of the city. From the bridge, enjoy views of the lush valley of the North Saskatchewan River, which boasts one of North America's largest urban park systems.
Continuing our ride, we'll reach the University of Alberta, where the campus showcases a blend of traditional and modern architecture. Our route then leads us to Old Strathcona, formerly a railway hub and now home to the city’s most creative and vibrant district.
We’ll then enter the tranquil Mill Creek Ravine Park, demonstrating the city's integration with nature. The stunning glass pyramids of the Muttart Conservatory will greet us, each representing a distinct climate from around the world.
A well-deserved break at the Muttart Conservatory, known for its connection to the Chinese community's legacy in Edmonton, will give us time to regroup before heading to Sir Winston Churchill Square, a hub for festivals, concerts, and significant events. Lastly, we’ll visit the ICE District, an area defined by sports, music, and contemporary architecture that characterizes modern Edmonton.
At the end of the 2-hour tour, we’ll return to our original meeting point to conclude our adventure.
