Our journey begins at the designated meeting point on Avenida San Martín or at your hotel, based on your selected option in El Chaltén. From there, we will head north towards the Laguna Cóndor mountain refuge, where you will be provided with a concise introduction on how to operate the kayaking equipment.

Once the theoretical instructions are complete, we will dive into the practical segment of the experience! Commencing our exciting kayaking journey, we will navigate the aptly named Río de las Vueltas (Twisting River). For approximately three hours, you will glide along this winding waterway, surrounded by the magnificent Patagonian vistas, featuring the dominating peaks of the Fitz Roy massif.

This remarkable river offers views of lakes, glaciers, and forests, showcasing the essence of Patagonia. While paddling, you will encounter various natural wonders of Argentina and have opportunities to capture memorable photos from your kayak.

Your kayaking expedition will conclude as we return to the refuge at the Condor Lagoon. After this fulfilling experience, we will transport you back to El Chaltén, wrapping up the excursion in about five hours.

Pickup Info

For this activity, pickup is available at the specified time from hotels located in central El Chaltén. If your accommodation is in a more secluded area, we will arrange for you to be collected at 56 San Martín Avenue.
