Activity Overview

Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Santa Maria, leading us to the Serra Negra Natural Reserve, only a short 10-minute drive away. Are you prepared for an adrenaline-pumping experience?

Upon reaching the reserve, you will receive a comprehensive safety briefing to familiarize yourself with the necessary precautions before the adventure starts. Next, we will embark on a brief 15-minute trek to ascend to the summit of Serra Negra, where a traditional Cape Verdean apéritif awaits you: the delightful milho cake, served with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, all while enjoying the vibrant sounds of Cape Verdean Hot Rhythms. This setting is perfect for easing any pre-adventure jitters!

Once securely harnessed and following the guidance of our instructors, you will be all set to take flight on a 1-kilometre (0.62 mile) zip line. For approximately 90 seconds, relish the adrenaline rush of zipping through the sky, capturing stunning aerial views of Sal Island and its crystalline waters as you accelerate to over 100 kilometres per hour (62 mph)!

Concluding your adventure, we will return you back to your hotel, marking the end of a memorable 2-hour experience.
