Boat Transfer Overview

At your scheduled departure time, we will depart from the Cais do Porta Nova terminal in Faro aboard a speedboat. Ready to navigate the stunning coast of the Algarve? Prepare to be enchanted by the breathtaking scenery of this vibrant area in southern Portugal!

After a brief 15-minute cruise through the Ría Formosa Natural Park, we will reach the Desertas Islands, a pristine location where you can decide how long to linger. This Algarve paradise, often referred to as Barreta Island, provides the perfect setting for a swim in its inviting waters, a leisurely walk along the soft golden sands, or a hike to the impressive Cape of St. Mary.

When you're ready, you'll board a different speedboat at the Desertas Islands pier. Following another 15-minute journey through the Ria Formosa lagoon, we will arrive at Farol Island. Here, you can explore the quaint village, unwind at Salva-Vidas Beach, or enjoy a meal at one of the local eateries.

From the boat at Farol Island, whenever you choose, you'll continue onto your next destination. Just a short 15-minute sail brings you to Culatra Island, famous for its charming town and the iconic whitewashed church. The island is also renowned for its oyster farms, which can be toured during low tide.

At your convenience, you’ll take a speedboat from the Culatra pier back to the Faro port. Keep in mind that this return journey isn’t direct, as it includes stops at Farol Island and Desertas Islands.
