Fuencaliente Snorkelling Activity
Description
Discover the stunning underwater world of La Palma’s coastline with our Snorkelling Activity in Fuencaliente. Encounter a diverse array of fish and explore the remnants of lava flows from the last eruption of the Teneguía volcano.
Activity Overview
At the scheduled time, we will gather at one of the designated points in Fuencaliente. After a brief introduction, you'll drive your own vehicle, following the guide to reach the beach located in the southwestern region of La Palma, where our snorkelling adventure will take place.
Upon arrival, we will don our wetsuits and review essential safety guidelines crucial for the activity. Once equipped with flippers, snorkels, and goggles, we will dive into the water and embark on our exploration. Get ready for an exciting splash!
We will spend a full hour observing the vibrant marine life in the waters off Fuencaliente. During our time in the sea, expect to see a variety of fish species including Mediterranean parrotfish, dreamfish, white seabream, seabass, and barracuda. As we navigate this volcanic region's colorful sea floor, the solidified lava from the 1971 eruption of Teneguía will also be visible.
The activity will conclude on Malpique Beach, about 2 to 5 hours after we begin. If you wish to keep snorkelling after the initial two hours, you are welcome to continue using the snorkelling gear for an additional three hours—it's entirely up to you!

For those opting for the 9:30 am session, please head to the dive school on Calle José Torres Hernández in Fuencaliente. If you select the 12:30 pm slot, we will meet directly at the beach where the snorkelling will occur. The precise meeting point will be provided after your booking is confirmed.
