Tour Overview

We will convene at the designated spot in downtown Granada, then embark on a stroll towards the Albaicin, often regarded as one of the city’s most captivating and picturesque locales.

The history of Albaicin is woven with the presence of early civilizations: the Iberians, Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Visigoths, and Arabs all played a role in shaping this neighborhood before it was eventually taken over by Christian settlers.

As we navigate through its narrow, cobbled paths, taking in the fountains and historical sites, the significance of this area being recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, alongside the Alhambra, will become apparent.

Our journey will then lead us to Sacromonte, renowned globally for its traditional caves, vibrant gypsy culture, and authentic flamenco performances. Throughout the tour, we will highlight numerous cisterns, intricately designed Mudejar churches, and stunning viewpoints.

A highlight of our itinerary will be the Mirador de San Nicolás, a picturesque viewpoint offering stunning vistas of the magnificent Alhambra. Here, you will enjoy sweeping views of the Nasrid palaces, Generalife palace, and the fortress in all their glory.
