Yécora Forest 2-Day Adventure

Day 1: Departing Hermosillo to Yécora

At the pre-arranged time, our team will collect you from your hotel in Hermosillo for a scenic drive to Yécora, a charming town situated amidst the Sierra Madre Oriental. The journey by minibus will span nearly five hours.

Upon reaching our destination, we'll drop off our luggage at the hotel and savor a delightful lunch. Following this, we will visit Rancho La Cueva for a brief 3-kilometer hike to a breathtaking rocky viewpoint. The vistas awaiting you will be truly awe-inspiring!

During our excursion, you will also embark on a 40-minute horseback riding adventure through the lush coniferous forests that were once inhabited by the Tarahumara Indigenous Communities. To cap off the day, indulge in a scrumptious dinner featuring an assortment of grilled meats.

Day 2: Yécora to Hermosillo

We'll start the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before venturing to the outskirts to explore a unique forked tree shaped like a 'Y'. Next, we’ll proceed to the heart of Yécora to take in the sights of its main square, the iconic colorful letters, the Church of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, and other notable attractions.

After our exploration, a delightful picnic lunch will be served before we continue to Mesa del Campanero, where we'll visit a local vegetable garden to learn about the region's popular produce. To conclude our adventure, we'll stop at the Mirador El Bordo viewpoint for a panoramic view of the expansive green pine forests.

At the end of our journey, we will return to Hermosillo, with an estimated arrival time at your hotel of around 8 pm.
