Jungfrau Travel Pass - Unlimited Travel
Description
The Jungfrau Travel Pass offers a convenient way to explore the trains, cable cars, and funiculars of the breathtaking Swiss Jungfrau region. You can opt for passes that are valid for either 3, 5, or 7 days.
Advantages of the Jungfrau Travel Pass
With the Jungfrau Travel Pass, you gain unrestricted access to the various trains, cable cars, and funiculars located in this stunning Swiss landscape. Depending on your chosen option, you can utilize these transportation options over a span of 3, 5, or 7 days, providing flexibility to design your itinerary in one of Switzerland's most picturesque areas.
The Jungfrau region is situated within the Canton of Bern, encompassing charming towns such as Grindelwald, Mürren, Lauterbrunnen, Interlaken, Unterseen, and Wengen. Your pass grants you the freedom to navigate seamlessly between these idyllic alpine communities.
Featured Routes
The Jungfrau Travel Pass allows you to embark on iconic journeys, including:
Funicular Ride to Harder Kulm
Beginning at the Interlaken Harderbahn station, board the funicular bound for the Harder Kulm viewpoint, renowned as one of Switzerland's premier vantage points.
In just 10 minutes, you will ascend to an observation platform perched at 1,321 meters above sea level. Here, you can admire sweeping views of Lake Brienz and the Aar River winding through Interlaken.
Cable Car to First Mountain
This journey is another essential experience in the Jungfrau area. Starting at the Grindelwald Firstbahn station, the cable car transports you to the summit of First within a mere 25 minutes, reaching a stunning altitude of 2,168 meters.
Cogwheel Train to Schynige Platte
We further recommend hopping aboard the BOB (Berner Oberland-Bahn) trains. Departing from Interlaken Ost station, these trains take you to Wilderswil, where the cogwheel train continues on to the Schynige Platte alpine station.
This ride is especially unique due to its carriages adorned with wooden seats in the Belle Époque style, complemented by attendants dressed in period costumes. Upon reaching Schynige Platte, revel in magnificent glimpses of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains.
