Highlands & Harry Potter Train Adventure

Your journey will commence at the designated time from 15 Union Street, embarking on an enlightening Highlands tour. Our initial destination will be the banks of Loch Ness, a prime spot to watch for the legendary creature, Nessie. Additionally, we will pause to take in the impressive views of Urquhart Castle.

Following this, we will proceed to the Commando Memorial, dedicated to the brave soldiers of the Second World War. If conditions are favorable, you’ll have the chance to witness striking panoramas of Ben Nevis, the highest peak in Scotland.

Next, it’s time for the Hogwarts Express! We’ll board the Jacobite train, famously referred to as the Harry Potter train. Settle in while we embark on a scenic ride past Scotland’s deepest lake, its shortest river, and the westernmost railway station. Our train adventure will conclude in the picturesque fishing village of Mallaig, where you will enjoy approximately one hour for lunch in this lovely locale.

The tour will culminate at Fort Augustus, where you can revel in the beauty surrounding the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness. We will also make a quick visit to Dores Beach.

After a thorough exploration over a span of 12.5 hours, we will return to our starting point in Inverness.

Informations importantes

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the indicated time at 15 Union Street, opposite the entrance to the Victorian Market. Look for the blue and yellow bus. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early, as we won't be able to wait for late arrivals or issue refunds.

Please note that return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Be sure to reserve enough time for any subsequent travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
Each passenger may bring one carry-on bag and one additional piece of luggage, with a maximum weight of 15 kg and dimensions not exceeding 67 x 45 cm.
