Your day begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Kashan, leading us on a scenic drive lasting just under 1.5 hours towards Abyaneh. As we travel, you’ll be surrounded by stunning mountainous scenery painted in warm ochre tones, accompanied by captivating tales of ancient Persia, its vital trade routes, and its Zoroastrian influences.

Upon reaching Abyaneh, you’ll be captivated by the stunning view of this red village, where the architecture harmonizes with the mountainous backdrop. Our exploration kicks off with a walking tour through the narrow, winding streets, where the essence of history is palpable. Be prepared to marvel at centuries-old adobe structures featuring traditional wooden balconies that have withstood the test of time.

As we navigate the village, we will delve into its fascinating history by visiting landmarks such as the Jameh Mosque, renowned for its striking 14th-century wooden mihrab, and the ancient remains of the Fire Temple of Harpak, a testimony to the Zoroastrian past. Our adventurous spirit will take us to ascend an ancient Sassanid fortress, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the valley and capture memorable photos!

You’ll also have the chance to interact with the friendly locals of Abyaneh, who proudly wear traditional attire. Women are especially distinguishable in their white flowered scarves paired with colorful skirts, a custom that has been cherished through the generations.
