Join us on an unforgettable journey as we venture into Slovakia for a scenic hiking experience at the Treetop Walk Bachledka, followed by a visit to the charming Polish town of Zakopane.

Excursion to Zakopane and Treetop Walk Bachledka

Your adventure begins at 8 AM when we will collect you from your hotel in Krakow. From there, we’ll embark on a roughly two and a half hour minibus ride to the picturesque village of Ždiar.

Upon arrival, the hiking journey commences with a 40-minute trek that leads us to the remarkable Treetop Walk Bachledka. This elevated platform, reaching heights of approximately 60-80 feet (18-24 meters), offers an extraordinary vantage point to observe the stunning Bachledka Valley from above the trees.

As we traverse this impressive walkway, breathtaking panoramas of the Slovakian forests, along with views of the Tatra Mountains and Pieniny National Park, will unfold around us, making it impossible to resist capturing the moment! In winter, the sight of snow-draped landscapes will truly astound you.

We will then descend from the Treetop Walk Bachledka either via slide or by foot, depending on your preference, before returning to our minibus. Next, we will cross back into Poland to explore the vibrant city of Zakopane.

Did you know that Zakopane is celebrated as the winter capital of Poland? This town draws countless visitors during the colder months, thanks to its excellent skiing facilities. You will have two and a half hours of free time to discover all that this beautiful destination has to offer.

Consider taking a horse-drawn carriage ride, browsing local crafts along Krupowki street, savoring delectable regional dishes, or admiring the stunning traditional wooden houses. These experiences are just a glimpse of what awaits you in Zakopane!

After enjoying your free time, we will reconvene and conclude our excursion at around 8 PM, ensuring you are returned safely to your hotel.
