We will gather at the Teran bus station at the appointed time to embark on a free exploration of Chorrillos, a district rich in historical significance.

The journey begins at the Malecon, where we will delve into the maritime heritage of the area. We'll stroll along some of the bay's most frequented spots, including Agua Dulce beach and La Herradura. As we hug the coastline, we will visit the remarkable Salto del Fraile, an observation point that offers breathtaking vistas of the towering cliffs, before stopping at a local handicraft market.

Continuing our ascent, we will make our way to the summit of the Morro Solar, a range adorned with significant monuments. Here, we will catch a glimpse of a prominent planetarium, one of the nation’s notable attractions, gaze upon the Christ of the Pacific, pay respects at the obelisk dedicated to the Unknown Soldier, and visit the sanctuary of Virgen del Morro.

Throughout our exploration of Morro Solar, we’ll reflect on the aftermath of the War of the Pacific in the late 19th century and uncover the pivotal involvement of figures such as President Miguel Iglesias.
