Trip Overview

Gather at Piazza di Marina Corta a mere 45 minutes before our scheduled departure, where we will board our vessel for a scenic cruise through three of the Aeolian islands. Setting sail from Lipari, our first destination is Vulcano.

As we navigate toward Vulcano, we'll first circumnavigate the Vulcanello peninsula, formerly an independent island until a volcanic eruption in the 16th century connected it to Vulcano. Our tour will also take us past the Baia Negra, through marine caves such as the Piscina di Venere (Pool of Venus), and we will observe the Gelso Lighthouse.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy two hours of leisure time to delve into Vulcano. Interested in thermal relaxation? The bubbling mud baths at Porto di Levante await. If you prefer outdoor activities, consider hiking up the Gran Cratere della Fossa and observing its renowned sulfur fumaroles.

Next, we will set sail for Panarea, where you will also receive two hours to explore at your own pace. This is a perfect chance to savor a meal, enjoy a swim at the well-known Cala Junco, or investigate the remnants of the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese.

Afterward, we will regroup on the boat and continue our voyage to Stromboli. During your two hours of free exploration, we suggest visiting the Church of San Vincenzo, situated in a square that offers an extraordinary viewpoint overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and the iconic islet of Strombolicchio.

As the sun sets, we will board the boat once again to witness a breathtaking spectacle: the sight of lava erupting from the slopes of Stromboli will be a memorable conclusion to our day.

We will wrap up our adventure by returning to Lipari approximately thirteen and a half hours after we set out.

In the event that Stromboli is under a volcanic activity alert and access to the island is restricted, we will modify the day's itinerary to prioritize safety. In such cases, we will extend our stay in Panarea and conduct a panoramic sea tour of Stromboli. During this portion of the journey, we will admire the stunning Strombolicchio and the awe-inspiring Sciara del Fuoco.
