Our adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Ljubljana at the scheduled time, as we embark on this memorable excursion to the So?a Valley, celebrated for its breathtaking landscapes located in the northwestern part of Slovenia.

Our initial destination is the enchanting Lake Rabelj, or Laghi di Fusini as it is known in nearby Italy. Upon arrival, the serene waters reflecting the majestic Julian Alps will offer a perfect backdrop for our first photographs of the day. Following this, we will navigate the scenic Predel Pass, an impressive mountain route bridging the Italian and Slovenian borders, presenting us with stunning vistas along the way.

Next, we will descend toward Strmec, and before long, we will find ourselves in the remarkable So?a Valley, where nature showcases its magnificence. Our journey continues to the Great So?a Gorge, where the river has intricately carved the limestone, resulting in dramatic cliffs. Here, we will enjoy a brief stroll along the riverbed, exploring the prime viewpoints that highlight the area’s natural wonders.

Shall we move on? After our exploration, we’ll make our way to Bovec, a charming alpine village, where you’ll have some free time to enjoy lunch. Be sure to sample some of the local craft beers! Refreshed, we will then visit the impressive Boka waterfall, which ascends to a height of 100 meters (328 ft). A short hike will take us to an outstanding viewpoint offering a unique panoramic perspective.

To conclude our day, we will visit Kobarid, a town steeped in history from the First World War. Here, we will delve into its surroundings and explore the connection between nature and history as we enjoy the sight of the Kozjak waterfall.

After a fulfilling day of discovery, we will return to Ljubljana, concluding our journey with a drop-off at your hotel approximately 12 hours after our departure.
