Half-Day Excursion to Mount Titlis
Commencing your journey from the Landenberg bus parking area in Lucerne at the scheduled time, you will traverse through central Switzerland towards Engelberg, a charming village nestled within an Alpine valley and a renowned destination for visitors.
Upon reaching Engelberg, you will board the Titlis Rotair cable car for an exhilarating ascent to the summit, taking in breathtaking aerial views of the glaciers and ice formations below. Once you arrive at the pinnacle of Mount Titlis, situated at an impressive height of over 9,800 feet (3000 meters) above sea level, prepare to be captivated by the expansive Alpine scenery—remember to bring your camera!
You will enjoy two hours of leisure time to explore and relish your afternoon in the Swiss Alps; amid the stunning landscapes, you can participate in several must-try activities that let you engage with the snow and ice.
As your unforgettable day comes to a close, you will begin your descent back to Engelberg, where your bus will be ready to take you back to Lucerne, concluding this tour in approximately 5.5 hours.
Activities Available at Mount Titlis
Upon reaching the summit of Mount Titlis, a variety of activities will be at your disposal, all included in your ticket:
- Titlis Cliff Walk: standing at about 10,000 feet (3,000 m) high, this is Europe's highest suspension bridge. On clear days, traverse the Cliff Walk for unparalleled views of the glacier situated 1,500 feet (460 m) below, the Uri Alps, and even distant vistas reaching Italy!
- Ice Flyer: this chairlift offers a thrilling ride over the glaciers of Mount Titlis, showcasing remarkable aerial views of untouched snow and magnificent crevasses.
- Glacier Cave: immerse yourself in the enchanting world of ice by exploring this nearly 500-foot-long (150 m) walkway nestled beneath the glacier’s surface.
- Glacier Park: step into the ultimate snow fun zone! Delight in sledding and snow tubing down a snow-laden slope for a quintessential Mount Titlis experience.
Additionally, you may explore the TITLIS Horizon viewpoint independently, with an entry fee of 18CHF for adults and 9CHF for children.

Adjustments to Itinerary
From August 17 to December 11, 2026, visits to the summit will be limited to around 1 hour due to the ongoing construction of the new Titlis tower and mountain station. During this period, activities will be enjoyed as conditions allow, followed by descent to the Trübsee middle station, where dining options are available.
Furthermore, please note that transport routes and methods may be temporarily altered during maintenance and construction events.

Accessibilité
Accessible only for folding chairs. An accompanying person is required. This must be indicated in the reservation.
Informations importantes
The meeting point will be the Landenberg bus parking lot (Alpenquai, 6005 Luzern, Switzerland).
The bus will leave on time, so we recommend being at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the tour. If you have any issues finding it, please contact the local tour provider on +41 (0) 44 710 50 50.
We recommend wearing hiking shoes, a waterproof/windproof jacket, and warm clothes in winter.

The route and means of transport may be subject to change during maintenance work. Due to the works, the route is not wheelchair accessible until further notice.
Itinerary Adjustments
From August 17 to December 11, 2026, due to the construction of the new Titlis tower and mountain station, visits to the summit will be reduced to approximately 1 hour. During this time, we'll enjoy the activities available, weather permitting. Afterwards, we'll descend to the Trübsee middle station, where you'll find catering options.
In addition, the route and means of transport may be temporarily modified during maintenance and construction work.
