From this point, you have direct access to Ormberget-Hertsölandet, the largest outdoor recreational area in the city, featuring several kilometres of forest trails, making it a gem for cycling enthusiasts.

Thanks to the fatbike's oversized wheels, you can cycle effortlessly on snow, sand or dirt. These bikes provide maximum grip and stability, ensuring they're ideal for year-round use.

During your ride, you have the freedom to choose your own adventure. In summer, opt for scenic routes along beaches or forest paths, while in winter, enjoy the sensation of gliding over snow in dreamy white landscapes.

At the conclusion of your adventure, simply return the bikes to the original pickup point.

On the day of the activity, you'll have to go to Luleå Travel, located at Kronan H1, Kaserngatan 1, 974 42 Luleå. To get there, you can take lines 6 or 8 of the city bus. You can see the schedule at the following link.

You'll need to show a valid ID before renting the bikes.

Please remember that to rent the bike, you must be at least 1.6 m tall (5 ft 2 in).

Activity Recommendations

Don't forget to bring water and something to eat, like an energy bar.
During the winter, we recommend taking ski trousers and a windproof jacket, as well as thermals. You'll also need warm winter shoes, a hat and windproof gloves or mittens. We recommend carrying a small backpack with room for spare clothing, such as a warm jacket to wear during the break.
In the summer, in addition to sunglasses, we advise wearing several layers of clothing to adapt to the temperature, as Luleå's climate is known for its rapid changes.
