Activity Details

At the scheduled time, participants will be picked up from their hotel in Luleå and transported to one of the nearby nature reserves within a 30-minute drive. Prepare for postcard-like winter scenery!

Upon arrival at the hiking starting point, snowshoes will be provided for a 3 km (1.8 mi) hike through awe-inspiring landscapes of Swedish Lapland. The route will feature snow-covered trails, nestled among silent forests and hillsides that present breathtaking views.

During the hike, various interesting facts about the flora and fauna of northern Sweden will be shared. Participants might be lucky enough to encounter animals such as reindeer, elk, or deer in their natural habitat, or at least trace their tracks left in the snow—a true delight for nature enthusiasts!

Midway through the hike, there will be a pause to enjoy a hot drink by a campfire, surrounded by nature. This moment will provide an excellent opportunity to recharge and appreciate the serene environment.

Afterward, the group will return to the starting point of the hike and head back to Luleå. The tour will conclude with farewells at the hotel after approximately 3 hours.
