Embark on an exciting survival course in Pyhä-Luosto National Park, where you will discover the art of constructing a quinzee, the traditional igloo of the Lapp people.

Arctic Survival Course

Your adventure begins at the Amethys store in Luosto, where we'll gather at the scheduled time before proceeding to the Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Upon arrival, you will engage in a workshop to uncover the mysteries of the Arctic environment and learn essential survival techniques for Lappish conditions.

Throughout the session, we will provide all necessary gear, including sleeping bags, thermal clothing, arctic mats, and various stove options. After the workshop, participants will enjoy a hearty hot meal featuring sausages, snacks, and freshly baked bread.

After a refreshing break, we will dive back into survival skills by constructing a quinzee - a classic Lappish snow igloo. Once the shelter is completed, we will step inside and embrace the experience of being true Eskimos.

After spending a day mastering survival techniques in the Arctic, we will conclude our journey and return to the starting point after approximately 6 hours.
