Marrakech Monuments, Souks & Medina Walking Tour

Join us on a guided walking tour through the historic heart of Marrakech. You'll explore vibrant souks, winding alleys, and some of the city's most iconic monuments.

Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at Café de France in Djemaa el-Fnaa. After a brief introduction, we'll begin our guided walking tour of Marrakech's old town.

First, we'll visit the Bahia Palace, a 19th-century architectural site featuring zellij mosaics, carved cedar ceilings, and refined craftsmanship.

Next, we'll explore the Medina and head to Souk Semmarine, known for traditional clothing and leather goods. Here, we will meet local artisans and learn about their techniques.

Following that, we'll go to Souk El Attarine, famous for spices, perfumes, and beauty products. We will observe craftsmen in traditional workshops creating handmade pottery, metalwork, and wooden artifacts.

Our next stop is the Ben Youssef Madrasa, a historical Quranic school from the Saadian era. We will then wander through the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

If time permits, we may visit Le Jardin Secret, a historic garden in the Medina showcasing Islamic art and architecture.

Finally, we'll conclude our tour back at Djemaa el-Fnaa after 3.5 to 4 hours.
