Our journey begins at San Javier metro station. We will board the metro and then take a bus to arrive at Comuna 13, an intriguing neighborhood nestled on a hillside, rich in color and creativity.

As we explore this area, the tour will delve into its troubled history, once noted as one of the world's most dangerous places. Comuna 13, due to its key geographical position, witnessed years of violence and armed conflict in Medellin. While admiring the vibrant street art, we will discuss significant military operations that have shaped the region, including the well-known Mariscal and Orion missions.

Walking along its steep paths, you will find yourself feeling at ease and secure. This is a testament to the remarkable transformation of Comuna 13 over recent decades. After approximately 2.5 hours, we will conclude our free tour of Comuna 13 and return to the central area of Medellin.
