At the agreed time, we will meet in front of the San Martín General Library to begin a guided walking tour of Mendoza. This destination, renowned for its wines and stunning mountain landscapes, awaits your discovery!

After regrouping, we will explore the history of Mendoza, focusing on key figures who played a pivotal role in its development, including General San Martín. We will start by admiring the impressive library named after him, then stroll along the Paseo de las Flores, also known as La Alameda, a vibrant area lined with stalls featuring beautiful flowers.

A key highlight of Mendoza is the Parque General San Martín, a large park filled with greenery centered around the Monument to General San Martín. This site features modern architecture, including a prominent square and a fountain, providing an excellent photo opportunity. Our next stop will be the Central Market, where you will have 20 minutes of free time to explore the stalls and enjoy a drink.

We will then make our way to the Tajamar Canal, a picturesque spot ideal for appreciating Mendoza’s natural beauty. Here, we will discuss the vital role of water in the region before visiting the Monument to Fray Luis Beltrán, another hero of Independence.

The tour will continue along San Martín Avenue, stopping to visit various textile shops, a crucial aspect of the local economy, which we will explain in detail. Additionally, we will highlight the architectural contributions of Daniel Ramos Correas, one of the city's notable architects.
