Nestled in the Blixen district, the Giraffe Centre serves as a sanctuary established by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife, dedicated to enhancing the welfare of Rothschild's giraffe. Throughout our visit, you will have the opportunity to observe these magnificent creatures from up close and discover a variety of intriguing facts about the species.
The Rothschild's giraffes inhabit the grasslands of East Africa exclusively and are distinguished from other types by their unique patterns and coloration. In addition to marveling at these remarkable animals, you will get to feed them—provided they are in the mood for a snack!
