Details of the 3-Day Safari

Day 1: Journey from Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your Nairobi hotel or a specified meeting location at the prearranged time. As we travel, we will embark on a drive lasting approximately 4.5 hours towards the Maasai Mara, a crucial wildlife conservation area.

The route takes us through the stunning and rugged landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Prepare for a brief stop at a scenic viewpoint to capture some memorable photos before we proceed to our campsite. Upon arrival, we will settle in and regain our strength with a delicious lunch.

As dusk approaches, we will embark on a sunset game drive within the Mara Reserve. This thrilling two-hour adventure allows us to witness wildlife in the beautiful evening light, after loitering around, we will return to camp for a fulfilling buffet dinner.

Day 2: Exploration of Maasai Mara

Awake to the beauty of the Maasai Mara! The day commences with a hearty breakfast before we once again board our vehicle for an all-day safari experience.

On our journey across the reserve, we will remain alert in search of the iconic “Big Five.” As we traverse the open plains, our aim is to spot magnificent lions, elusive leopards, formidable rhinoceroses, grand elephants, and powerful African buffalo. Along the way, we will also delve into the fascinating migrations of the diverse wildlife inhabiting this majestic region of Africa.

A picnic lunch will be enjoyed around midday, followed by continued exploration. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the site of the annual wildebeest migration, where we might see crocodiles and hippos relaxing on the banks of the Mara River. Did you realize that over 1.5 million animals journey between the Serengeti and the Mara each year in search of sustenance?

As the day concludes, we will make our way back to camp where dinner awaits. The evening is free for relaxation and personal time in preparation for our final day of exploration.

Day 3: Return from Maasai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast, we will depart from our Maasai camp and begin our journey back to Nairobi, carrying with us wonderful memories from this extraordinary experience.

On the way back to the capital, we will take a break for lunch before returning you to your hotel in the afternoon.

Hotel pickups are included for accommodations within downtown Nairobi. If you're located outside this area, a meeting point at the central City Market will be arranged. Should you wish to be picked up from an alternate location or the airport, an additional fee will apply.
