Cooking Class Details
Our journey begins at the meeting point located at Via dell'Università, situated 6.2 m (10 km) from Naples. From here, we will stroll to the Royal Palace of Portici, one of the historic residences of the former Bourbon monarchy in Naples. This event harmonizes history with the culinary arts for a remarkable experience!
Upon our arrival at the palace, we will discover its opulent rooms, taking in the stunningly adorned walls and exquisite ceilings characteristic of the Bourbon style. You will learn about significant events that shaped its past along with fascinating stories of the royal family that resided here. Did you know that the palace also hosts the Agronomy Faculty of the University of Naples Federico II?
After a comprehensive 2-hour tour, we will return to our original meeting point to kick off the Neapolitan cooking class. Once the group has assembled, we will start our culinary adventure with a welcome glass of Prosecco. It's time to roll up your sleeves and commence our cooking session. This Neapolitan cooking class will provide all the necessary ingredients to create something special. Get ready to don your aprons and ignite the stove!
The dish we craft will depend on seasonal availability and may feature items such as homemade gnocchi, fresh pasta, pizza, seabream with friarielli, or meatballs in a Sunday Neapolitan sauce. Regardless, you will have a wonderful time cooking and expanding your culinary skills!
After our delightful gastronomic creation is complete, we will savor our dish accompanied by a glass of wine, water, and Neapolitan coffee. To commemorate the class, you will also receive a certificate with the recipe, enabling you to recreate the experience at home and impress your family and friends with your newfound skills.
Following our meal, we will conclude this enriching experience, which lasts approximately 4.5 to 5 hours, with heartfelt goodbyes.
