Arituba Lagoon & Cajueiro de Pirangi Day Trip

During this excursion, you will explore some of the most stunning locations along the Natal south coast, including the remarkable Arituba Lagoon and the world's largest cashew tree.

Journey to the South Coast and Arituba Lagoon

At the scheduled time, we will meet you at your accommodation in Natal and set out towards the southern regions of Rio Grande do Norte.

Your first highlight will be Barreira do Inferno, renowned as the first rocket launch site in South America. You might be curious about its evocative name, which is derived from its close proximity to Ponta Negra beach and the striking reddish hues of its cliffs.

The journey will then lead us to the impressive Cajueiro de Pirangi, recognized in the 'Guinness Book of Records' as the largest cashew tree globally. Spanning 500 meters, it produces around 80,000 fruits each year—a delightful spectacle!

Subsequently, we will visit the Arituba Lagoon, a beautiful freshwater haven. You will have the opportunity to indulge in a traditional seafood meal at one of the local eateries or simply enjoy a refreshing swim in the lagoon.

Our final destination will be Camurupim Beach, where turquoise waters and shimmering sands invite you to unwind under the sun.

After this enriching day, we will return to Natal, wrapping up the tour in approximately 7 hours.
