Moreover, with your ticket to The Beam, you will also gain entrance to the renowned Top of the Rock Observation Deck on the 70th floor of the Rockefeller Center. From this location, you'll witness some of the finest panoramic views that the city has to offer.

The Beam

It operates daily from 8 am to midnight, with the last entry at 11:10 pm.

Top of the Rock

Until February 28, 2026, Top of the Rock is open daily from 9 am to 10 pm, where the final elevator ascent is at 9:10 pm.
From March 1, 2026, Top of the Rock will be open daily from 8 am to 11 pm, with the last elevator going up at 10:10 pm.

The Beam Opening Hours

The Beam is open daily from 8 am to midnight. Final admission is at 11:10 pm.

Important Info

Closures for adverse weather conditions: in the event the Beam must be closed due to extreme weather conditions, guests will be issued a voucher to visit at a later date.
Height and weight restrictions: visitors must be 132 cm (4 ft 3) or taller to go up to the Beam alone. If shorter, guests must be a minimum of 107 cm (3 ft 5) and be accompanied by an adult. All guests must have tickets. The maximum weight limit is 136 kg (300 lbs).
Dress code: guests must wear close-toed shoes or sandals that fully engage the heel. Hats, glasses, and scarves must be securely fastened.
Prohibited items: mobile phones, tablets, laptops, electronic devices, cameras, selfie-sticks, go-pros and other recording devices, backpacks or bags of any size, keys, wallets, beverages, bottles, infant carriers or any other loose items. Medical devices such as oxygen tanks, canes and walkers are also not permitted. All loose personal belongings must be stored in the cubbies located next to The Beam.
