Activity Overview

Day 1: Departure from Palenque - Yaxchilán & Bonampak Exploration

Your adventure begins at 5:30 am with a pickup from your hotel in Palenque, setting off towards the breathtaking Las Golondrinas Waterfalls. After approximately two hours on the road, we’ll pause for a delightful breakfast.

Upon our arrival at Las Golondrinas Waterfalls, you’ll have two hours to explore this stunning location. Witness the crystal-clear water cascading in the form of spectacular waterfalls, creating enchanting rapids along the route. A serene pool surrounded by vibrant jungle foliage makes this spot truly captivating.

Next, we’ll proceed to the archaeological site of Bonampak, where you'll be immersed in the site’s remarkably preserved murals for about an hour, leaving you in awe of the artistry and history.

The day concludes with a restful night in a cozy cabin by the Lacanjá River, where you can enjoy dinner and recharge for the adventures that await the following day.

Day 2: Rafting on the Lacanjá River - Return to Palenque

We’ll start the day with breakfast at the cabin, gearing up for an action-packed morning. Our first adventure is rafting on the Lacanjá River, where you’ll experience the thrill of navigating the rapids for a two-hour journey full of excitement.

After an exhilarating rafting experience, we’ll embark on a hiking trail through the Maya jungle, providing the opportunity to marvel at the local fauna and breathe in the refreshing air. Post-hike, we will return to the lodge for a well-deserved lunch.

You will be back at your hotel in Palenque by 8 pm, marking the end of this unforgettable experience.
