Admission to the Pompeii Archaeological Site

At the scheduled time, proceed to Via Roma, number 32, located in the heart of Pompeii. Here, you can collect your admission tickets for the archaeological site and receive your audio guide. A map featuring suggested routes will also be provided, helping you tailor your visit based on your interests.

A brief 5-minute walk will lead you to one of the main entry points of the ancient Roman city: the Porta Anfiteatro. Upon entering, you'll have the freedom to discover the ruins of Pompeii at your own pace. Witness the temples, thermal baths, theaters, and homes adorned with exquisite frescoes and mosaics.

During your exploration, be sure to visit the impressive Teatro Grande and the historic Stabian Baths, which are recognized as the oldest Roman baths globally. These baths were constructed between the 3rd and 4th centuries B.C..

Additionally, don’t miss the striking House of the Faun, renowned as one of Pompeii's most magnificent Roman residences, along with the Lupanar, the former brothel still displaying paintings on its walls. This experience promises to be an in-depth tour of the city that succumbed to the lava of Mount Vesuvius, transporting you back to the year 79 A.C.!

Your audio guide in English will enhance your understanding of the site as you follow a route that can last anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on your pace. You're welcome to stay at the archaeological site for as long as you desire, always within the operating hours. After your visit, simply return the audio guide to the office where you initially received it.
