This quad biking adventure around São Miguel invites you to experience the verdant beauty of the Azores Islands through an exhilarating and distinctive route.

Quad Biking on São Miguel

Upon booking, you can select between a 4-hour or an 8-hour experience. Regardless of your choice, we will rendezvous at the designated time on Rua Eng Alberto Rodrigues in Ponta Delgada.

4-Hour Experience

Our journey commences in Ponta Delgada, venturing northwest towards the stunning Sete Cidades Massif. We will navigate our quads along the periphery of this impressive volcanic crater.

During the excursion, we will pause at various viewpoints to appreciate the remarkable scenery, including the awe-inspiring twin lakes of Lagoa das Sete Cidades. Following our adventure, we will return south to São Miguel on our quads.

8-Hour Experience

For those opting for the 8-hour adventure, the itinerary begins similarly to the 4-hour tour. After this segment, we will proceed to Baía do Silencio, offering a stunning panoramic vista of São Miguel. We will then take a moment for a delicious buffet lunch at a nearby restaurant.

From there, our excursion continues towards Ponta da Ferraria, where you can speed through this breathtaking landscape. At the conclusion of the tour, we will make our way back to São Miguel.

Schedule Overview

When reserving your spot, please adhere to the following time options for the tours:

The 4-hour tour launches at either 8:30 am or 1:30 pm.
The 8-hour tour begins at 8:30 am.

Participating Requirements

A quad can accommodate a maximum of 2 individuals: a driver and a passenger. Both participants have the option to alternate driving during the tour, provided certain conditions are met.

To operate the quad, participants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driving license recognized in Portugal.

Prior to the tour, a credit card deposit of 500 EUR per vehicle is required, which will be refunded 72 hours post-tour.

Note that the stated prices apply per vehicle, not per individual.

Group Transport

In the case that your group exceeds 8 participants, we will utilize a minibus while adhering to the same itinerary outlined in the previous sections.

Schedule and Meeting Point

At the indicated time, please make your way to the ANC Azores Holidays office, located in Ponta Delgada (the capital of the island of São Miguel). Address: Rua Eng Alberto Rodrigues 11 - 13 Relva, 9500-435 Ponta Delgada, Portugal. Please be on time.

Requirements

Each quad can hold a maximum of 2 people; a pilot and a passenger. Both can take turns driving the vehicle during the tour if the requisites are met.

To be able to drive the quad, it's necessary to be over the age of 18 and to hold an in-date driving licence, that must be valid in Portugal.

Before taking part in the tour, you must make a credit card payment deposit of 500 EUR per vehicle, which will be returned to you 72 hours after the tour.
