At the arranged hour, we will convene at the Old Town Square to initiate this captivating underground tour of Prague. Let’s begin!
To enhance our starting point experience, we will delve into the everyday existence of the local residents in the 12th century as we navigate through the tunnels and ancient settlements located beneath the old town square.
These passages, once bustling with activity, now lie in silence. Can you picture it? This extensive underground network predates the Old Town itself and is the most extensive in Prague. Quite impressive!
During the tour, we will traverse chambers, hallways, and mazes to witness directly how this subterranean city functioned and to grasp its influence on the evolution of contemporary Prague.
As our journey comes to a close, we will make our way to the Statue of Kafka, marking the end of this activity, which lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours.
