2-Day Tour

Day 1

At the agreed time, we will gather at Suchipakari Amazon Eco Lodge. Upon arrival, a welcome drink awaits you. Before embarking on our exploration of Puerto Misahuallí, we will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch to prepare for the exciting experiences ahead.

Our journey begins with a hike through the lush Amazon rainforest, specifically on the renowned Gran Cacique route. Along the way, you will encounter impressive ceibo trees and various medicinal plants.

If you seek an adventure filled with excitement, we will find ourselves at a river beach by the Napo River, where tubing awaits. Here, you can float downstream in a rubber ring, reveling in the thrill of the water.

After a day full of excitement, we will return to the lodge to relax and have dinner. For those interested, an optional hour-and-a-half night walk is available to delve deeper into the vibrant nocturnal life of the jungle.

Day 2

Upon waking, we will begin the day with a hearty breakfast followed by a workshop on handmade chocolate production. Once we have tasted our creations, we will conclude our adventure at the lodge’s entrance, bidding farewell.

3-Day Tour

For those with additional time, the 3-day tour of Puerto Misahuallí is an ideal choice. The first day follows the same itinerary as mentioned earlier. On the second day, after breakfast, you can select from the following excursions:

• Wildlife Refuge: Experience a picturesque sail across the Napo River to reach the Amazoonico Wildlife Refuge. There, you will enjoy lunch and explore the Kichwa community. You will learn about the preparation of chicha de yuca and get hands-on experience with the traditional blowgun. The visit culminates with a trip to Anaconda Island, where caimans can be spotted.
• Playa de los Monos: A trek to a nearby waterfall will provide a refreshing swim, followed by lunch. This excursion includes a stroll along Playa de los Monos, where you can interact with friendly local wildlife, and a visit to the Kichwa indigenous community to understand their customs and learn how to prepare chicha de yuca.

In the evening, we will unwind at the lodge and on the following day, enjoy breakfast before engaging in another chocolate-making session, concluding our adventure respectfully.

4-Day Tour

If you wish to extend your experience, consider the 4-day itinerary. We will follow the same schedule as the 3-day tour, adding a dedicated third day to explore the Napo Runa territory and learn about the indigenous communities residing there.

As we navigate the Napo River, the beauty of the rainforest's fauna and flora will unfold before you. A visit to the Museo de Trampas will offer insights into the tribe’s historical lifestyle, followed by a warm welcome from the Kichwa indigenous community, where they will demonstrate how chicha de yuca is traditionally made.

On the final day, after breakfast and a final chocolate-making session to taste, we will prepare to say goodbye to Suchipakari Amazon Eco Lodge.

5-Day Tour

Maximize your adventure experience with the 5-day tour, which closely aligns with the 4-day tour itinerary. However, on day two, rather than choosing between the Wildlife Refuge or Playa de los Monos Beach, we will first visit the wildlife refuge, followed by a leisurely day at the beach on the third day. This option facilitates a more relaxed enjoyment of all activities.

On the fifth day, after breakfast and our final chocolate-making session, we will part ways, cherishing the memories created.
